In September this year the Folke Bernadotte Academy is hosting the third ever EU Mission Security Officer Certification course.

This course, the result of a collaboration between the Security Office of the General Secretariat of the Council and the Folke Bernadotte Academy was first given in September 2009 and is the result of a growing awareness of the importance of duty-of-care for the safety and security of EU staff deploying to risk associated areas.
