Before taking up her new position, Ann Bernes used to work at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs where she served since 1994, mainly focusing on security policy, peace and conflict matters, but also on development cooperation. Most recently, Ann Bernes worked for the MFA’s Department for Multilateral Development Cooperation.
