International Lesson Learned Conference is held at Karlberg Castle in Stockholm, June 21-24
The conference will address issues such as Protection of civilians, Economic impacts, UNSCR 1325, and Actors and Coordination issues in the Comprehensive Approach. Several of the contributions concern various areas of conflict in the world such as Afghanistan, Haiti, DRC and Iraq. Methodological issues of Lessons Learned and Best practices will be a central part of the conference discussions.
The conference combines lectures in plenary with panel seminars. The seminars provide great opportunities for discussion and exchange of experiences. The panels consist of both civilian and military contributions presenting experiences from practitioners, policy analysts and researchers.
